Watched the movie Forrest Gump finally the other day. Well, i did like it. Think its a really well made movie and as for Tom Hanks, man! he is Mr. Forrest Gump. He has portrayed the role so perfectly. I wonder, what is it that made the character Forrest such a big success in whatever he tried. Did somebody just say, "Well, it is a movie. Anything can happen!". Point taken. But still, the scenes where Forrest tries ever so hard to realise his dream of opening Bubba Gump even though all his fishing escapades turned out to be a failure was interesting. Point to be noted is that he did not give up hope. Whatever he did, he just concentrated on the moment and did it no matter what happened or what people thought. Thats where his being "supposedly" dumb helped. A point where others would have quit or wouldnt even have dreamt about the impossible dream, Forrest endured!
Also, the love shown between Forrest and Christy(If i remeber her name right!) was so beautiful. It was true love. Amazingly portrayed.
Well, life is a box of chocolates. You never know which one you are gonna get!" :-)

Good notes on Forrest gump!!..however, a small correction is to be made..his girlfriend was 'Jenny' in the movie and not Christie...:-)
Amazing movie isnt it? On ur point abt forrest being a success, another thing u might notice is the clear line shown btwn obsession and determination!! N yup tats jenny!
